Well I have been looking every where for help and still don't know what to do. I guess no one has any advice or ideas for me. I have been to local churches and they aren't giveing me any answers as to weather or not they can help. I am starting to get desprate and fear I might do something stupid. I feel for all those out there that need help because I'm starting to think its not out there.

I look on this site and I see people in pain and people that are so sad, It makes me wonder if there is hope. I haven't seen anything about someone that has been helped by this system and would like to know if there is any one out there that has. I think we all have sad storys and I feel for all of us. But we are only focusing on what is wrong in ourlives and we need to be greatful for what we have. I'm not saying that to be mean but I would like this group to be the brighter side. Post what you are greatful for, the one good thing that has happened to you today, this week, ever, and if you have receved help. I think this will bring hope to many that are out there.

That is very good, I was and still am with a guy who was an addict and now he has been clean for two years. There is not a day that goes by that he doesn't have the urge. Thank god he doesn't act on them but it is very hard to quite. When he finally quite he was doing everything that was availible and that was everything. I smoked pot at the time, and part of him going sober was for me to go to. I only smoked pot and it was to unwind. Now when I get the urge I play vidio games. It helps alot. You will always have to fight those urges. But you need to find something to do so you don't focus on them. You made the right chose and I think that is great and she should be very proud of you. Good luck and remember you child.

You are heading in the right direction by looking for a grant. They give out grants all the time to people who like you. I have no money at this time but would like to say that you have a wonderful dream and I wish you the best.

I am a mother of three truely great kids, 2 girls ages 7 and 12, and a little boy getting ready to turn 3. I love my kids and spend all my time with them while my boyfriend of 11 years kills himself to support us. We have struggled our hole life together becomeing parents at 17. We have tryed to give our children everything and more. My boyfriend came from a rough background were his mother provided for the family and his father did nothing. He doesn't want his kids to have to grow up without haveing any one around so he insist that I stay home with them. I don't mind, my mother stayed home with me when I was growing up, but it makes me feel like I'm not contributing to the household. After moving around every year for the past 11 years we finally bought a house. He works as a carpet installer which means he is self employed, he does this back breaking works by himself and has no insurence. Recently he hurt his back and had to do small jobs just to pay the bills, we have been struggleing ever sence. We have managed to keep up the regular bills but the house payment has fallen behind and now we are in forecloser. I don't know what to do. I have prayed and saved money but it is not enough to get out of forecloser they want 2800 dollaers and I only have 1500. Even if I can come up with the amount they want, then I have to go on payment arrangement and I can't afford that. I have thought about going to a local church to ask for help. But I feel like there are so many people out thier who need help more than I do. I just don't want to lose my house. My daughter has been to 5 differant schools in the last 7 years and moving would mean another school. She is only in sixth grade, I don't know what to do. I am out of ideas. We can make our regular payments and stay up with our regular bills if we can just get out of this situation. We are trying to help ourselfes and it feels like because we are no one else want to. Shouldn't it be the other why around though?
